Patients who are being treated simultaneously with antibiotics (tetracyclines) or barbiturates should always leave a time interval of about 3 hours between taking these drugs and Calcimagon-D3 or Calcimagon-D >3 Keep forte; certain antibiotics (quinolones) should be taken 2 hours before or 4-6 hours after administration of Calcimagon-D3 or Calcimagon-D3 Forte.
In the case of simultaneous treatment with a bisphosphonate, cholestyramine, zinc, strontium ranelate and iron preparations, sodium fluoride or paraffin, before taking Calcimagon-D3 or Calcimagon-D3 Forte, a time interval of at least 2 hours must be observed. The same applies to the simultaneous intake of food rich in oxalic or phytic acid (spinach, rhubarb, whole grain cereals).
If the thyroid hormone levothyroxine is administered at the same time, the interval should be 4 hours.

You should not take Calcimagon-D3 or Calcimagon-D3 Forte if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.
Adults take 1-2 chewable tablets Calcimagon-D3 or 1 chewable tablet Calcimagon-D3 Forte per day. The tablets can also be taken dissolved in a glass of water. If you take 2 tablets per day (this only applies to Calcimagon-D3), these are divided into morning and evening.
Calcimagon-D3 and Calcimagon-D3 Forte are not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
