When is OMIDA Low-fat Cardiospermum used?

According to homeopathic medicines, OMIDA® Low-fat Cardiospermum can be used in skin diseases such as inflammation of the skin with itching, e.g. eczema, neurodermatitis (endogenous eczema ) and on skin prone to allergies.

What should be considered?

In the event of severe inflammation of the skin, suppuration or extensive skin changes, as well as fever or persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms (suspected systemic diseases), a doctor should be consulted.
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether OMIDA® Low-fat Cardiospermum can be used at the same time.

OMIDA® Low-fat Cardiospermum should not be used in children under the age of 2 without medical advice.

When can OMIDA Cardiospermum low-fat not be used or only with caution?

OMIDA® Cardiospermum low-fat must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients, e.g doctor or druggist if you

-suffer from other diseases,

have allergies or

-use other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can OMIDA Cardiospermum low-fat be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use OMIDA Low-fat Cardiospermum?

Children from 2 years and adults:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, apply thinly to the affected areas several times a day as needed.

For children under 2 years of age, a doctor should be consulted before treatment.

Contact of the cream with eyes, mucous membranes and deep, open wounds should be avoided (see also under "When may OMIDA® Cardiosper mum low-fat should not be used or only with caution?"). After applying the cream, hands should be cleaned.

Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur when treating a small child/child, they should see a doctor.

If you think the drug is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can OMIDA Low-fat Cardiospermum have?

In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. allergies to one of the ingredients) can occur on the skin. In such cases, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist, or druggist.

When using homeopathic medicines, the symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue OMIDA® Low-fat Cardiospermum and tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else should you watch out for?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the mbe used by the date marked ‹‹EXP››.

Shelf life after opening: 12 months

Store medicines at room temperature (15–25°C) and out of the reach of children.

What is in OMIDA Cardiosper contain mum low in fat?

1 g cream contains:

Cardiospermum halicacabum (balloon plant) TM 100 mg.

This preparation also contains excipients:

Benzyl alcohol (preservative), self-emulsifying ethylene glycol mono/distearate, octadecyl heptanoate/octanoate, cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, glycerol 85 %, potassium hydroxide solution 20%, water.
