According to homeopathic medicinal products, Viburcol, oral liquid can be used for restlessness with and without fever, especially in infants and children (e.g. teething, mild abdominal pain, insomnia) and for the symptomatic treatment of frequent in fects.
If children are susceptible to colds, we recommend consulting a doctor. If restlessness persists, seek medical help. In the event of a high fever or worsening of the condition, early consultation with the doctor is advisable, especially in the case of children. In children under 2 years of age, the occurrence of a higher fever must always be clarified by the doctor.
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Viburcol, liquid for oral use can be taken at the same time.
If you have a known allergy (over sensitivity) to one of the ingredients of the medicine.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,
- have allergies or
- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally.
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
Unless otherwise prescribed,
Standard dosage:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
1 monodose 3x daily
Children:
Under 2 years: 6 drops 3x daily
2-5 years: 9 drops 3x daily
6-11 years: 12 drops 3x daily
Acute dosage:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years:
1 monodose every 30 minutes - 1 hour, up to 12x daily.
Children:
Under 2 years : 6 drops every 1/2 - 1 hour, up to 12 times a day
2-5 years: 9 drops every 1/2 - 1 hour, up to 12 times a day
6-11 years: 12 drops every 1/2 - 1 hour, up to 12 times a day
Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
Type of administration:
1. The monodose containers are intended for single use.
2. Do not open the monodose container until just before use.
3. Separate the monodose container by twisting and pulling the strip. The cap can be opened by turning. The opening should not be touched.
4. Drop the recommended amount preferably under the tongue.
The symptoms can temporarily worsen when taking homeopathic medicines (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue Viburcol, oral liquid and inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
No side effects have been observed for Viburcol, oral liquid when used as directed.
If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or similarthe druggist.
The drug may only be used up to the date marked "Use by" on the container. Keep the drug out of the reach of children. Do not store above 25 °C. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
