Description
What is Vitasprint B12 and when is it used?
Vitasprint B12 is a supplement with the three active ingredients vitamin B12 (500 µg) and the two amino acids phosphoserine (40 mg) and glutamine (60 mg).
Vitasprint B12 can be used in the event of a vitamin B12 deficiency, which can manifest itself as follows:
- reduced physical and mental performance
- Fatigue
- nervous tension.

What should be considered?
Note for diabetics:
The content of a drinking ampoule corresponds to approx. 0.1 BE.
When should Vitasprint B12 not be taken be taken?
Vitasprint B12 must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients.
If you suffer from anemia, your doctor will only prescribe Vitasprint B12 after the exact form or cause of the anemia has been determined.
The Vitasprint drinking solution contains sodium methylparaben (E 219, a benzoic acid compound) as a preservative. If you are allergic to benzoic acid, you should not take Vitasprint.
If you suffer from the very rare sorbitol intolerance (fructose intolerance), you should also not take Vitasprint B12.
The use and safety of Vitasprint B12 in children and adolescents has not yet been tested. Vitasprint B12 is not intended for self-medication in this age group.
When is caution required when taking Vitasprint B12?
If signs of illness occur, such as pallor of the skin and mucous membranes, tiredness, dizziness, a doctor should first be consulted, as these may be diseases that require medical examinations.
In the case of malignant diseases of the hematopoietic system or a tumor illness, a doctor must be consulted in order to avoid a possible deterioration in the state of health.
The sorbitol used in the preparation as a sweetener sometimes has a slightly laxative effect. In this case, take Vitasprint B12 after meals.
In very rare cases, sorbitol is not well tolerated. Persistent gastrointestinal complaints or diarrhea during therapy can be signs of hypersensitivity. Consult your doctor before continuing the therapy in this case.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally!
Can Vitasprint B12 be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
While pregnant or breastfeeding At this time, Vitasprint B12 should only be taken if specifically prescribed by your doctor.
How do you use Vitasprint B12?
Adults:
Vitasprint B12 is taken on an empty stomach in the morning, undiluted or diluted with water.
Unless otherwise prescribed, Vitasprint B12 should be taken for a maximum of 30 days. If your condition, especially tiredness, does not improve after this period, you should consult a doctor (see section “When should you be careful when taking Vitasprint B12?”). Even if things get worse again after a temporary improvement, you should consult a doctor and inform him/her about the temporary intake of Vitasprint B12.
The Vitasprint B12 drinking ampoules consist of a two-chamber system. Vitamin B12 and phosphoserine are in dissolved form in the first chamber, the drinking ampoule. Glutamine is in the second chamber, the red stopper. Only when the stopper is pressed down are all three ingredients mixed together and the drinking solution is ready to be taken.

Remove the plastic closure of the drinking ampoule by pulling the tab. Push in the protruding stopper until the contents (white powder) fall into the solution (if you cannot depress the stopper with your thumb, press the drinking ampoule upside down on the table top). Shake the drinking ampoule well a few times. Then remove the stopper, pour the contents into a glass and add water as you like or take the contents undiluted. Fig. 1-6.
Children and young people
The use and safety of Vitasprint B12 in children and young people has not yet been tested. Vitasprint B12 is not intended for self-medication in this age group.
Stick to the dosage given in the package insert or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor or pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Vitasprint B12 have?
The following side effects can occur when taking Vitasprint B12: rarely general hypersensitivity reactions such as fever, skin rashes, etc.
The sweet contained in Vitasprint B12 Medium Sorbitol can have a mild laxative effect. In sensitive patients, diarrhea or gastrointestinal problems may occur in rare cases. In such a case, take Vitasprint B12 after breakfast.
If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else should you watch out for?
Keep out of the reach of children.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
The medicine may only be used up to the date marked "EXP" on the container.
