Description
When are Traumeel tablets used?
According to the homeopathic drug picture, Traumeel tablets can be used to help with bruises and sprains, as well as pain in the musculoskeletal system.
What should be considered?
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Traumeel tablets are to be taken at the same time may be taken. If the general condition deteriorates, a doctor must be consulted immediately.
When should Traumeel, tablets not be taken or only with caution?
Traumeel, tablets should not be taken in case of hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients.
For fundamental reasons, medicinal products containing echinacea must not be used due to possible immune-stimulating effects in
•Progressive systemic diseases (such as Tub erculosis, sarcoidosis, diseases of the white blood cell system, e.g. leukaemia)
•Autoimmune diseases (such as collagenosis, multiple sclerosis),
•Chronic viral diseases (such as hepatitis B),
•Immune deficiency (AIDS/HIV infections).
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you have other suffer from illnesses, have allergies or take other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or use them externally.
Can Traumeel tablets be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Traumeel, tablets?
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children over the age of 12 years take 1 tablet 3 times a day, and schoolchildren aged 6-11 years take 1 tablet 2 times a day if prescribed by a doctor and children from 2-5 years 1 tablet 1-2 times a day.
In acute conditions, adults and children over 12 years take 1 tablet every half to full hour up to 12 times a day, and as directed by a doctor, school children from 6-11 years take 1 tablet every half to full hour up to 8 times a day, and children from 2 to 5 years 1 tablet up to 6 times a day.
Preferably the tablet in the mouth let it melt and then swallow it. Children can crush the tablet and drink it mixed with some water. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Traumeel, tablets have?
The following side effects have been observed when taking Traumeel, tablets or preparations of the same composition: Hypersensitivity reactions with skin rash and itching as well as diarrhoea. The drug should then be discontinued and medical advice sought. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. When taking homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue Traumeel, tablets and inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

The medicine may only be used up to the date marked "Use by" on the container. Store drug out of reach of children. At Raumtetemperature (15-25 °C). Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information.
What does Traumeel, tablets contain?
1 tablet contains:
Achillea millefolium D3 15 mg, Aconitum napellus D3 30 mg, Arnica montana D2 15 mg, Atropa belladonna D4 75 mg, Bellis peren nis D2 6 mg, Calendula officinalis D2 15 mg, Camomilla recutita D3 24 mg, Echinacea angustifolia D2 6 mg, Echinacea purpurea D2 6 mg, Hamamelis virginiana D2 15 mg, Hepar sulfuris D8 30 mg, Hypericum perforatum D2 3 mg, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni D8 30 mg, Symphytum officinale D8 24 mg.
This preparation contains lactose and magnesium stearate as additional excipients.
