What is Menosan Salvia and when is it used?
The medicine Menosan Salvia is made from fresh sage leaves. It is traditionally used for excessive sweating and a feeling of warmth during menopause.
What should be considered?

When should A.Vogel Menosan Salvia not be used or only with caution?
Menosan Salvia should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Caution should be exercised in persons suffering from epilepsy. People who regularly take antiepileptic drugs should consult their doctor before taking Menosan Salvia.
Please only take Menosan Salvia after consulting your doctor if you know that you have an intolerance to sugars.
This medicine contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per tablet, i.e. essentially ‘sodium-free’. it is almost «sodium-free».
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

Can Menosan Salvia be used during pregnancy or if you are breastfeeding?
You should avoid using Menosan Salvia during pregnancy and breastfeeding or consult your doctor.
How do you use Menosan Salvia?
Adults: take 1 tablet once a day with some liquid.
Follow the instructions on the package insert or those recommended by your doctor or pharmacist .Dosage prescribed by the doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
The use and safety of Menosan Salvia in children and Adolescents have not yet been tested.
What side effects can Menosan Salvia have?
The following side effects have been described for Menosan Salvia: diarrhea and abdominal pain. Epileptic convulsions can occur in the event of an overdose.
If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.
What else needs to be considered?
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Unused or expired packs should be returned to your pharmacist or druggist for disposal.
Storage instructions
Keep Menosan Salvia out of the reach of children and store at room temperature (15-25° C).

Thick extract from: 3400 mg tincture of fresh sage leaves (Salvia officinalis L., folium), drug-extractant ratio 1:17, extractant ethanol 68% V/V accordingly 51 mg dry matter.
