Squa-med is a medicinal shampoo with two substances that complement each other's effects: Zinc pyrithione inhibits dandruff without penetrating the skin. Undecylenamide MEA prevents excessive greasing of the hair. Squa-med normalizes abnormally increased dandruff production without stimulating the secretion of the sebum.
The two active ingredients zinc pyrithione and undecylenamide-MEA also work against certain bacteria and fungi that are often observed in scalp diseases.
Squa-med also has an anti-itching effect, is kind to the skin, mild and allows the dandruff to be washed out thoroughly.
Squa-med has proven itself in the following scalp diseases: itchy eczema of the scalp (seborrheic dermatitis); dandruff; Psoriasis of the scalp and bran psoriasis (Pityriasis versicolor).
Squa-med does not contain any preservatives, dyes or perfumes.
Squa-med should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.
Squa-med do not bring into contact with eyes, otherwise rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Squa-med may only be used on infants and small children under the age of 2 years after medical evaluation.

Squa-med is used like a normal shampoo. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, treatment of the scalp with Squa-med is carried out once or twice a week.
1. Wet the hair well with lukewarm water. Rub Squa-med into the hair and let it foam.
2. Rinse hair and scalp thoroughly.
3. Gently massage Squa-med into the scalp again and leave on for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally, rinse the hair well.
This treatment can last for a few weeks until the hair is dandruff-free.
1. Moisten affected areas of skin well.
2. Apply a thin layer of Squa-med and spread it evenly over the affected areas of skin by gently rubbing it (generously over the affected areas) and let it foam.
3. Leave the foam on for 20 minutes.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. Repeat this treatment for four consecutive days.
In some cases, the treatment may be repeated immediately afterwards.
Squa-med may be used in children, but in infants and small children under the age of 2 years only after prior medical clarification.

When Squa-med is used properly, no side effects or allergies have been observed so far, but hypersensitivity reactions can occursave. So far, no hair discoloration or hair loss has been observed when using Squa-med.
