Description

ManuLoc Rhizo stabilizing orthosis size 1 left titanium

A bandage to immobilize the wrist and stabilize the thumb controlled movement release. Size: 1 14-19cm / Color: Titanium

Properties

ManuRhizoLoc gives the wrist and thumb a secure hold thanks to the integrated and anatomically pre-shaped aluminum rods. If the focus at the beginning of therapy is to immobilize the joints, it is important to train the muscles gradually for long-term regeneration. With a Velcro tab on the thumb, the security of the support can be loosened and controlled movement can be released in the base thumb joint. Once sufficient mobility has been restored, the thumb rest can be completely removed. This means that gripping movements with all fingers are possible again, the hand is further stabilized and the risk of subsequent injuries is reduced. Its flat design made of micro Velcro velor can be easily worn under clothing, does not pull any threads and also makes it particularly light.

Areas of application

  • PreoperativeIrritating conditions in the wrist as well as in the metatarsophalangeal and thumb saddle joints (post-traumatic and postoperative) Severe rhizarthrosis Combined injuries to the wrist and thumb saddle joint Carpal tunnel syndrome
