What is Valverde Calming and when is it used?

Valverde Calming contains a dry extract of passion flower herb. The proven medicinal plant is traditionally attributed a calming effect. By standardizing this herbal medicinal product, consistent quality is achieved.

Valverde Calming is used for states of tension, inner restlessness, irritability and nervousness.

What should be considered?

If your symptoms last longer than 2 weeks or worsen, you should consult your doctor.

When should Valverde Soothing not be taken or only with caution?

Valverde Soothing should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see «What is in Valverde Soothing contain?").

Due to the sucrose (sugar) content, this medicinal product is unsuitable for patients with rare, inherited fructose intolerance (hereditary fructose intolerance), glucose-galactose malabsorption (impaired absorption of glucose and galactose) or a sucrase-isomaltase deficiency.

This medicine may impair your ability to react, the ability to drive and the use of tools or machines, particularly if alcohol is also drunk.

There is insufficient experience with the use of this medicine in children. It should therefore not be used in children under the age of 12.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist, if you

  • suffer from other diseases,
  • have allergies or
  • take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).

Can Valverde Calming be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Valverde Calming?

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 2 to 3 times a day 1 dragée whole with sufficient liquid ( preferably 1 glass of water).

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Valverde calming have?

In rare cases, hypersensitivity can occur, in isolated cases allergic skin symptoms can occur.

If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children. The preparation should be stored at room temperature (15-25 °C). The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked “EXP” on the container.

What does Valverde Calming contain?

1 dragee contains: 425 mg dry extract of passion flower herb (DEV 5-7:1, extractive agent: ethanol 50% v/v).

This preparation also contains the dyes titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxides (E 172), sugar (sucrose) and other additives.
