Symptoms such as itching, scaling and redness subside under treatment with Lamisil Pedisan. Most patients with athlete's foot have shown no recurrence 2 months after a week's treatment with Lamisil Pedisan.
To prevent athlete's foot, you should follow a few rules:
Lamisil Pedisan must not be used if it is known Hypersensitivity to the active substance terbinafine or to any of the excipients contained in the cream or spray (see «What does Lamisil Pedisan contain?»).
Lamisil Pedisan has not been tested for use in children under 12 years of age. The use of Lamisil Pedisan in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of clinical experience.
Lamisil Pedisan cream or spray is intended for external use only; they must not get in your eyes. Accidental eye contact may cause eye irritation. If the preparation comes into contact with the eyes, the eyes must be rinsed out immediately with running water. Consult your doctor if the symptoms do not go away.
Infants and small children must not come into contact with the treated skin areas.
Do not inhale Lamisil Pedisan Spray.
Lamisil Pedisan Spray should be used carefully on injured skin, as the alcohol or propylene glycol it contains can cause irritation.
Lamisil Pedisan cream contains cetyl and stearyl alcohol, which can cause localized skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis).
In the case of extensive fungal infestation or joint infestation of the nails, the doctor should be consulted.
Do not apply other medicines to the treated skin.

Lamisil Pedisan must not be used during pregnancy , unless expressly prescribed by a doctor.
If you are planning a pregnancy, you should only use Lamisil Pedisan after consulting a doctor.
Lamisil Pedisan should not be used while breastfeeding. Small children and infants must not come into contact with the treated skin areas.
Before using Lamisil Pedisan, thoroughly clean the affected skin with a cotton ball and warm water and dry it.
Lamisil Pedisan Creme once a day - in the morning or Use in the evening: Lamisil Pedisan Cream must be applied thinly to the diseased and adjacent areas of skin and rubbed in gently. Wash and dry hands thoroughly after use.
When using Lamisil Pedisan Spray, the diseased and adjacent skin areas should be sufficiently moistened with Lamisil Pedisan once a day - in the morning or in the evening.
Cream: 1 time per day for 1 week.
Spray: Once a day for 1 week.
To avoid recurrence, stick to the recommended duration of use. If the symptoms worsen or if there are no signs of improvement after 1 week, a doctor should be consulted.
The use and safety of Lamisil Pedisan in children under the age of 12 has not been established.
Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist
The following side effects can occur when using Lamisil Pedisan:
Common side effects include flaking and itching. Occasionally, skin damage, scabs, skin discoloration, redness, burning sensation on the skin, pain or irritation at the application site may occur. Dry skin, contact dermatitis or eczema are rare. Rash or blisters (papules) are very rare.
If Lamisil Pedisan accidentally comes into contact with the eyes, eye irritation may occur (see «When should you take care of using Lamisil Pedisan?»).
Stop using Lamisil Pedisan and tell your doctor straight away if you get any of the following symptoms, which may be signs of an allergic reaction:

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
Once the pack is opened, Lamisil Pedisan Spray has a shelf life of 3 months.
Store in the original packaging at 15-30 °C.
