What is Chinamed Emulsion and when is it used?
Chinamed Emulsion is a rub and massage agent that promotes blood circulation in the skin and the underlying tissue. When the product is applied, a cooling effect occurs first, which is then replaced by a pleasant feeling of warmth.
Chinamed Emulsion is used for pain and hardening of the muscles, such as muscle tension, muscle stiffness and back pain, and as a supportive measure for rheumatic pain in muscles and joints.
For sports massage: Chinamed Emulsion can be used before sports to loosen and warm up the muscles. Rubbed in after physical activity, the product can have a relaxing effect and help against sore muscles.
What should be considered?
Avoid contact with the eyes. Wash your hands after use.
When should Chinamed Emulsion not be used?
Only use on uninjured and healthy skin, not on mucous membranes.
Do not use if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients.
Do not use on infants and small children.
When should caution be exercised when using Chinamed Emulsion?
Chinamed Emul sion should only be used for a short time and not over a large area.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
- suffer from other diseases,
- have allergies or
- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally.
Can Chinamed Emulsion be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
During Chinamed Emulsion must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless for a short period of time and only with a doctor's prescription.
How do you use Chinamed Emulsion?
Shake well before use.
Adults: Massage Chinamed Emulsion well into the painful parts of the body 2-3 times a day.
For sports massage: Rub Chinamed Emulsion well into the affected muscle parts before and after sport.
The application and safety of Chinamed Emulsion in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.
Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Chinamed Emulsion have?
The following side effects can occur when using Chinamed Emulsion:
Sensitive skin can have an allergic reaction to the preparation. If skin irritation or rash occurs, discontinue use of the product. If necessary, see a doctor.
If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist, or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
Medicines should be kept out of the reach of children. Any eye contact may cause burning eyes. The eyes should then be rinsed out with plenty of water.
The medicine may only be used up to the date marked «Exp» on the container.
Store at room temperature (15 - 25°C).

What does Chinamed Emulsion contain?
1 g of emulsion contains :
Camphor 14 mg, menthol 30 mg, eucalyptus oil 10 mg, propylene glycol, preservative: methyl/propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218/E-216), flavorings and other additives per 1g.
