What is Baldriparan «For the Night» and when is it used?
Valdriparan «For the Night» contains a dry extract of valerian root. Baldriparan «For the night» is manufactured using a standardized process. The extract from the official valerian root is used to promote sleep.
Baldriparan "For the Night" is used for sleep disorders caused by nervousness.
What should be considered?
If the symptoms persist for more than a month, medical help should be sought.
Support the treatment with anything that gives you rest and relaxation: a soothing full bath and light physical activity such as swimming, walking or gymnastics. Make it easier for yourself to fall asleep by getting your body used to a regular daily routine with fixed mealtimes and an even day/night rhythm.
When should Baldriparan «For the Night» not be taken or only with caution?
Valdriparan «For the Night» must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see "Composition"), also not from small children.
The use and safety of Baldriparan "For the Night" in children under the age of 12 has not yet been tested. In children aged 6-12 years, the preparation may therefore only be used after medical supervision and prescription.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!).
Can Baldriparan «For the Night» be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Baldriparan «For the night»?
Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 1-2 tablets about an hour before bedtime . The dragées should be taken whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).
Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Valeriparan «For the Night» have?
The following side effects can occur when taking Valeriparan «For the Night»: rarely hypersensitivity reactions, especially to the dye Indigotine, like itching, rash.
If you notice any side effects that are not described here, tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
Baldriparan "For the Night" should be kept out of the reach of children.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.

What does Baldriparan "For the Night" contain?
1 dragee contains: 441 mg dry extract of valerian root (DEV: 6.0 -7.4:1), extractant ethanol 70% (v/v); Dye: indigotine (E 132), as well as other excipients.
Note for diabetics: 1 dragée contains: 0.015 bread units (BE).
