What are Protagent SE eye drops and when are they used?
Protagent SE eye drops are used to moisten the eyes and treat mild eye irritation.
On the recommendation of the doctor, pharmacist or druggist, Protagent SE eye drops can also be used for "dry eyes" of various causes.
When should Protagent SE eye drops not be used?
In case of known or suspected hypersensitivity (allergy) to an ingredient or excipient of Protagent SE eye drops.
When should you be careful when using Protagent SE eye drops?
If you experience headache, eye pain, vision changes, eye irritation, persistent redness of the eyes, or if If there is no improvement in the eye symptoms or if the condition worsens, please consult your doctor.
Transient visual impairment after instillation may affect the ability to drive or use machines. As long as visibility has not returned to normal, the activities mentioned should be avoided.
Contact lens wearers
Protagent SE eye drops are preservative-free and therefore particularly suitable for contact lens wearers and people who are hypersensitive to preservatives.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!) or use them on your eyes.
Can Protagent SE eye drops be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

How do you use Protagent SE eye drops?
- Adults: In general, put 1 drop in the affected eye 4-5 times a day.

Notes on handling
The content of a single-dose container is sufficient for one application , i.e. for a single instillation into both eyes (after use, do not use any remaining eye drops in the opened single-dose container for reasons of sterility).
Shelf life
Use the contents of an unopened single-dose container only up to the expiry date (outer packaging: «Use by», single-dose container: «Exp.»).
Special storage instructions
Store at room temperature (15-25 °C), protected from possible heat and light and out of the reach of children.
After completing the treatment, take any remaining single-dose containers to your point of sale (doctor, pharmacy or drugstore) for professional disposal.
