What is Sidroga hawthorn tea and when is it used?
Sidroga hawthorn tea contains hawthorn leaves with flowers in dried and fine cut quality. Calming properties are traditionally attributed to hawthorn leaves with blossoms. Sidroga hawthorn tea is used for nervous heart problems such as palpitations, pressure and anxiety or stinging in the heart area, rapid pulse or dizziness.
What should be considered?
If an irregular pulse, severe palpitations, stabbing pains in the chest area and shortness of breath occur suddenly or last longer, you should consult a doctor. He or she will determine whether the heart or the vessels are organically diseased or whether the symptoms are caused by nerves.
When should Sidroga hawthorn tea not be used or only with caution ?
Sidroga hawthorn tea must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to hawthorn.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you have other illnesses suffer, have allergies or are taking other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).
Can Sidroga hawthorn tea be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Sidroga hawthorn Tea?
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 1 cup 3 times a day before, during or after meals.
Preparation: 1 tea bag for one Cup. Pour boiling water on, let stand for 5 to 10 minutes and remove the bag.
Long-term use is recommended, but should be discussed with your doctor. The use and safety of Sidroga hawthorn tea has not yet been tested in children under the age of 12.
Stick to the dosage given in the package insert or prescribed by the doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
