EHC (EUROPEAN HEALTH CORPORATION) SA

What is Carbolevure and when is it used?

< p>Carbolevure contains two natural substances, charcoal and yeast, which complement each other in their effects. Charcoal binds pollutants and yeast regulates the intestinal flora.

Carbolevure can be used to combat diarrheal diseases and to regulate and normalize the intestinal flora. According to the doctor's prescription or on the recommendation of the pharmacist, this preparation is also used against intestinal disorders in antibiotic therapy.

Carbolevure is available in two different dosages, for adults and for children.

When should Carbolevure not be used?

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients in Carbolevure.

When is caution required when taking Carbolevure?

In general, taking Carbolevure and other medicines at the same time can impair the absorption of these medicines. This should be considered especially for iron supplements. There should be an interval of 2 hours between taking Carbolevure and other medicines.

In the case of diarrhea in children under the age of 3 years, a doctor must be consulted.

If the diarrhea is accompanied by fever, if there is a suspicion of blood in the stool, if the symptoms persist for more than 3 days or if they recur, a doctor should be consulted.

Elderly people and children, in particular, must also ensure adequate fluid and electrolyte intake.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

  • suffer from other diseases,
  • have allergies or
  • take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).
