Description

Herbal medicine

What is Kelosoft and when is it used?

Kelosoft is a cream for scar treatment that contains green oil (from henbane) as an active ingredient. This has a softening and smoothing effect on bulging scars. After several months of treatment with Kelosoft, the scars slowly disappear. Visible success usually only occurs after 6-12 months. After a certain period of time, Kelosoft can also be used as a preventive measure to prevent scarring after skin injuries (burns and cuts) and operations.

When should Kelosoft not be used?

Kelosoft must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ointment additives or another component of the preparation. Kelosoft should only be used in children under 12 years of age on the advice of a doctor. Kelosoft must not be applied to open or unhealed wounds or mucous membranes. In the case of skin injuries or after operations, Kelosoft may only be used after 14 days at the earliest, i.e. only when the wound has healed safely.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from skin diseases, have allergies or use other medicines (including those you have bought yourself)!

Can Kelosoft be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Kelosoft Scar Cream should only be used after consulting your doctor.

How do you use Kelosoft?

Adults: Every evening before going to sleep, massage a little cream into the scar with your fingertip for 2-3 minutes, then cover with gauze if necessary. Treatment should be continued daily without interruption. Depending on the extent and severity of the existing poor scarring, the treatment lasts from several weeks to months. Consistent, regular use is a requirement.

Stick to the dosage stated in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

The use and safety of Kelosoft has not been tested in children.

What side effects can Kelosoft have?
