Minalgin is a pain relief medicine that belongs to the group of analgesics. It contains an active ingredient called metamizole sodium, which helps to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation.

Indications

• Headache
• Toothache
• Muscle pain
• Joint pain
• Menstrual pain
• Postoperative pain
• Fever

Dosage and Usage

The recommended dose of Minalgin for adults is 500mg to 1000mg three times a day. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 4g. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. It is not recommended to use Minalgin for more than 5 days without consulting a doctor.

Contraindications

Minalgin should not be used:

• in patients allergic to metamizole sodium or other pyrazolone derivatives;
• in patients with severe liver or kidney disease;
• in children under 12 years of age;
• in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Side Effects

Minalgin may cause the following side effects:
